About the Nexillumi Permanent Outdoor Lights
Each light sits under an anti-glare lens that throws a soft cone of light down the siding instead of a hard dot. Mount them 2 to 4 inches out from the wall with the adhesive and screws in the box. The two-sided extension cable joins the six runs into two sides of three. The adapter and the extension together reach 8.2 feet, so start the first run near an outdoor outlet.
The lights, cables, adapter and controller are all sealed to IP67 and rated from -22°F to 140°F, with UV resistance for summer sun. The remote and the illumiHome app pick from 16 million colors, nine preset scenes and a music mode. Before you start
Hanging the runs is a ladder job. Keep three points of contact while you climb, stay off the top rungs, and keep a metal ladder clear of the power line that feeds the house. Plug the adapter into an outdoor outlet of its own rather than into a chain of other holiday lights.
