Light and warmth for the cold months
The swinging ghost comes with its head, fabric, hanging line and light string already fitted: you build the wooden swing seat, hang it from a branch or a porch beam and drop in three AA batteries. A remote picks one of eight light modes, and a timer runs it six hours on, eighteen off, so it lights itself every evening of October.
The hand warmers are a pair of rechargeable pocket heaters. Each holds a 5000mAh battery, heats on one side or both at five levels from 95°F to 130°F, and recharges over USB in about three hours. Treat them the way fire safety groups ask you to treat any rechargeable battery: stop charging once they are full, and put a warmer aside for good if it swells, smells odd or pops.
