Editorial Policy
Where the facts on nexillumi.co come from, what we will not claim about a light, and how to report a mistake.
The people who run the Nexillumi catalog write every page on nexillumi.co. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.
Facts about the products
Lengths, TV sizes, wattage, pack contents, waterproof ratings and battery figures come from our own product data. When two descriptions of one product disagree, we print the narrower figure or leave it out.
Many of our product photos carried slogans and icons printed over them. Those photos are cropped down to the room or the house, or left off the site.
What we do not claim
We describe how long a light is, what it plugs into, how it is switched and where it can stay outside. We do not promise savings on a power bill, a set number of years of use, or that a product suits a job we have not described. Where a page talks about ladders, holiday lights or rechargeable batteries, it names the public source it relies on, and the date we read each source is printed beside it.
Corrections
If a length, a price or a sentence here is wrong, write to lights@nexillumi.co. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
